The actual house featured in the popular classic movie, “A Christmas Story” has been restored to its original movie appearance and opened its doors to visitors. The Dennison Polar Express (Dennison, Ohio):
Just as read in the book and seen in the movie, the Dennison Polar Express takes families on a journey to the North Pole. As the ride unfolds, so does the story. Ohio Statehouse Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting (Columbus, Ohio December 7th!!)
The beginning of the holiday season is kicked off with the annual holiday Statehouse event. Holiday activities include: carolers, refreshments, historical and modern character guests (including Santa!) and much more. Free and open to the public. Click here for more information. Take a Drive; Pack the family up in the car. Take a drive around your neighborhood or one nearby and enjoy all the light displays you see. You can pop on some festive music and make it a fun tradition. Make it into a game and vote on the best one. Send the winning home a Christmas card and tell them they were the winner!
