Apple Valley Lake is 511 acres and averages 30 feet deep. It is amazingly crystal clear. Most lakes in central and northeast Ohio average only 5-10ft. We have a full-service marina with gas docks, three beaches, two clubhouses, a gorgeous 18 hole public golf course (adjacent - Apple Valley golf course not owned by Apple valley), basketball, fitness center, indoor pool, outdoor pool, and more! The community amenities are private (restricted to property owners only). The common grounds are kept pristine! You will never be disappointed.
Apple Valley Lake is 95% speed zone with no hp limit on inboard boats and a 300hp on outboard with a 25hp on a trolling motor. The fishing is wonderful! There are two bass tournaments every year as well as catch and release tournaments on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Apple Valley Lake vacant lots start at $3,500 and have sold for over $400,000. It all depends on your view! Homes start at as low as $85,000 and have sold over $1,000,000. Again, depends on your view/location. The community is private, so you must own property in Apple Valley Lake in order to use any of the amenities.
This is an awesome retirement location, too-- including a fish club, singers, cooking club, red hatters, dance clubs, and more! There is something for everyone! If you didn't think it could get any better than this, the annual association dues are super low – Under$ 250 annually!
Apple Valley Lake is located in Knox County Ohio, a beautiful rural area with gorgeous Knox county Ohio rolling hills and charming farms. Apple Valley Lake and the community sit in the middle of it all. Within 6 miles is the little town of Mt Vernon. (A very cute and historical area) Mt Vernon has fun little shops in the downtown area complete with book stores, crafts, and "Sips" coffee shop. The newer downtown has a Wal-Mart, Rural King, movie theater, grocery, and plenty of restaurants. Within a mile of Apple Valley Lake is the beautiful Kokosing Gap Trail. A walking/biking trails run near the Kokosing River.

Apple Valley Lake has a variety of activities to do on and off the lake. Apple Valley is a great place to raise a family, make vacation memories, enjoy the incredible fishing, splash around in the deep and clear water, chill on the sandy beaches, sit poolside by the outdoor and indoor pools, take in some water sports, take advantage of the full-service marina and more. Get involved a little or as much as you want with a variety of Apple Valley Clubs. Consider tennis, pickleball, cooking, Red Hatters, fishing and so, so much more!
Fishing: Walleye, Striped Bass, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Crappie, and Catfish - just to name a few! The POA and the Apple Valley Fish Club's fundraisers stock the lake for us to enjoy the benefits. Apple Valley is known for its annual Buddy Bass tournament and their weekly catch and release tournaments.
Beaches and Swimming: Anchor in a cove and swim off your boat, take in the sun and sand at one of 3 beautiful beaches (Davis Beach, King Beach, and Sutton Beach), or simply relax poolside at the indoor or outdoor pools that Apple Valley has to offer. Davis Beach Video:
Boating: Not too many private lakes around can say that they do not have a horse power limit on outboard?! Apple Valley Lake can! Over 9 miles of shoreline and nearly 3.25 miles long. The full-service marina makes it convenient to gas up, snack up, and fish supply up!! Enjoy jet skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, and many extreme water sports!
Camping: Apple Valley Lake has a campers village for property owners only. Camper and camping are a couple of options. It includes laundry facilities, bathrooms with showers, electric and water hookups. You may call 740-397-8047 for further information and reservations.
Indoor and Outdoor Pools: When you own property at Apple Valley Lake, you have the exclusive right to many amenities! The pools are two of the many perks to enjoy when coming to the lake! Floral Valley Community Center houses the Olympic size indoor pool and The clubhouse is where you can find the new outdoor pool.
Clubs: Apple Valley offers its property owners a variety of clubs to join. From dancing to fishing to getting active with jogging, pickleball, golf, and tennis. What a great way to get to know others with like interests and have fun!

You can sit on the non-bar side for a quieter experience or the bar side for socializing or watching weekend entertainment. They have booths, high tops, and “belly up to the bar” stools!
