One of the perks of living on or near Apple Valley Lake is the gorgeous view and scenery whether it’s mid summer or the dead of winter. There are countless opportunities to catch glimpses of nature or simply the beauty of the lake. It’s even better when you can capture these moments on film to be remembered forever.
Perhaps you’re considering purchasing a Lake Home. Let these pictures serve as a reminder WHY Apple Valley is YOUR next Happy Place.

These little fellas can be seen all over Apple Valley Lake. Bald eagles are the only eagle native to North America. And the word “Bald” originally meant “white” not “hairless.”
Pictured here is a Red-Bellied Woodpecker. With a little suet and some peanuts, you can attract this beautiful bird. If you’re lucky, you might be able to get the more recognized Pileated Woodpecker.
A tiny, little hummingbird. While these creatures are in fact birds, their aerodynamics often have them associated with insects. Hummingbirds can flap their wings up to 6,000 times per minute. Be sure to change their water often, as the old nectar can be toxic to these delicate animals.
